Big Red (aka Softdog) is “On The Air”

It is with much joy we announce the new laser cutter Big Red (aka Softdog) is ready for usage.  Meaning it’s ready to use.  FYI – You do not have to be an AHA member to use this wonderful tool.  But you do have to take the Learn To Laser Class.  Offered on the 4th Saturday of each month it is limited to 8 people.  Should more people show up, their contact information will be collected.  And, if an instructor is available, a special class will be conducted.  For those interested in specs it’s a Transon TS-1490 80W CO2 w/ a working material bed size of 47″x35″.

This machine is owned by the generous folks at Backyard Brains.

Public Hours Reduced

AHA recently decided to eliminate Sunday public access.  We simply do not have enough staff volunteers to remain open that day.

We hope this is a temporary situation and will revisit this decision monthly.

- AHA Board of Directors

PS.  If you wish to volunteer your time to run staff shifts, please fill out this form.  Thanks.
