About works4me

My insatiable curiosity in all things tech takes me in wildly divergent directions both practical & fanciful. I’m a strong advocate of local business and Maker activities. I am a digital photography instructor, hardware store employee & former manufacturer of nixie tube clocks living and working in Michigan. My formal education encompasses electronics, information technology, manufacturing, US military and photography. Professional experience has run the gamut of technology in both military and civilian work. Often an early adopter, I built my first personal computer in 1979 while deployed in the Persian Gulf. I helped launch GM’s SATURN corporation as well as design, deploy and operate the first external supplier portals for General Motors.
