Learn to use the free & open source 3D modeling tool that is Blender! Have you ever wanted to create something in 3D (on a computer), but found yourself overwhelmed by either the interface, or the cost? This class offers you an excellent opportunity to get a primer in 3D Modeling!
Blender provides a broad spectrum of modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and video post-processing functionality in one package. Through its open architecture, Blender provides cross-platform interoperability, extensibility, an incredibly small footprint, and a tightly integrated workflow
Matthew Oishi will be teaching the class. He has over 5 years of experience using Blender, and currently holds a position doing 3D Modeling & Animation for Saagara, a local mobile software development company.
Seating is limited, if you would like to guarantee yourself a seat, please click the “Donate” button on the top right hand side of this site, and give AHA at least $5! (Please include the text “Blender Class” in the ‘Special Instructions’ when paying)
This event will be on Sunday, May 1st at 2:00pm. You will need to bring your own laptop, and have the latest version of Blender (2.57 or newer) installed and running.
